GMW Connections Project
Goulburn Murray Water is Australia’s largest rural water corporation, managing around 70% of Australia’s stored water resources and Australia’s largest irrigation delivery network.
Dunstan Civil were invited to work on the Goulburn Murray Water Connections Project in 2017. We were engaged to replace obsolete channel water meters with state-of-the-art electronic meters.
The process involved using excavators to remove the existing meter and concrete structure, importing suitable sub-base material, installing pipework and headwalls including concrete works and soil compaction, and installing the new meter modules, solar panels and associated electrical cabling. This process was repeated continually for all meters.
